Measure your vertical jump height, calculate your individual force-velocity profile and know how to adjust your strength training to improve your strength further. Based on newest scientific evidence and using built-in sensors Jump Strength accurately measures your jumping performance and tells you whether you should focus your training on power or maximal strength.

FEATURES:
• Accurate measurement of your vertical jumps, currently being scientifically demonstrated. Measure your jump height, flight time, push-off time, take-off velocity, mean vertical velocity, mean developed force and mean developed power.
• Support of different jump types: Squat Jumps (SJ) and Counter Movement Jumps (CMJ), free arms allowed.
• Calculation of your individual force-velocity profile using the groundbreaking Samozinos method. Calculation of your maximal theoretical force, velocity, power and jump height. Get hints on whether to focus your strength training on power or maximal strength to further improve your lower limbs force capabilities and to jump higher.
• Multi-user: Create as many users as you want and use Jump Strength for your entire team.
• Analyze the evolution of your jump performance as you improve your strength over time.
• Detailed step-by-step instruction on how to use the app.

Note: You will need an armband bag (i.e. sport/running armband) to attach the iPhone to your lower leg. Jump Strength measures your jumping performance based on sensor data recorded by the app during jump execution. Thus the need to attach the iPhone to your lower leg during the jump. You will not be able to measure your jump performance without an armband bag.

Jump Strength was developed by sport scientists based on the latest scientific findings in the field of training optimization using Force-velocity profiles.

Jump Strength is currently undergoing scientific validation with athletes at the University of Basel (Switzerland). First studies indicate that Jump Strength is just as accurate as the current gold standard OPTOGAIT which costs 5000$ or a 10000$ force platform.
